The Playground!

With it being such a nice spring day, I took the girls to the local playground. We went to feed the ducks and to play at the park. I could have stood there forever listening to my children laugh and play. I was amazed that even with the limited German that they know and use, they were able to make friends and communicate with the other children playing. Especially watching my 3 year old figure out to use hand gestures and visual communication with the little boy she was sharing her bread with. She was attempting to show him how to rip it apart and throw it to the ducks. I can see that we need to come to places like this as much as we can so my kids can learn and use their German.
